ਜਲ੍ਹਿਆਂਵਾਲਾ ਬਾਗ਼ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਸਮਾਰਕ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ : ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ 75ਵੇਂ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਦੀ ਪੂਰਬਲੀ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਮੌਕੇ ਭਾਵੁਕਤਾ ਭਰੇ ਪਲਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਜਲ੍ਹਿਆਂਵਾਲਾ ਬਾਗ ਸ਼ਤਾਬਦੀ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜੋ 13 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ, 1919 ਦੇ ਕਤਲੇਆਮ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਪਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਜਾਣੇ-ਅਣਜਾਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿਚ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਜੂਦਗੀ ਵਿਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿਚ ਬਣੀ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਖੂਨੀ ਸਾਕੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਇਸ ਸਥਾਨ ਉਤੇ ਇਹ ਦੂਜੀ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁੰਮਨਾਮ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਲ੍ਹਿਆਂਵਾਲਾ ਬਾਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਜਾਨਾਂ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ।
ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੂਲ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿਚ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਸਾਕੇ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਪਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਜਾਣਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ। ਕੈਪਟਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਦੁਖਾਂਤ ਵਿਚ ਜਾਨਾਂ ਗੁਆ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਕੋਲ ਸਿਰਫ 488 ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਤਤਕਾਲੀ ਗਵਰਨਰ ਮਾਈਕਲ ਓ ਡਵਾਇਰ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਜਨਰਲ ਡਾਇਰ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿਚ ਬਰਤਾਨਵੀ ਸੈਨਿਕਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗੋਲੀਬਾਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਪਾ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ 1250 ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਚੱਲੀਆਂ ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਸਲ ਵਿਚ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
ਇਹ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਰਣਜੀਤ ਐਵੇਨਿਊ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਆਨੰਦ ਪਾਰਕ ਵਿਖੇ 3.5 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਾਲ 1.5 ਏਕੜ ਵਿਚ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸਮਾਰਕ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਉਤੇ ਸੂਬਾ ਭਰ ਤੋਂ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਲਿਆਂਦੀ ਗਈ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਜਲ੍ਹਿਆਂਵਾਲਾ ਬਾਗ ਦੇ ਕਤਲੇਆਮ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀਆਂ ਪਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਇਸ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਥੱਲੇ ਵਾਲੀ ਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਖੁਲਾਸਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਜਲ੍ਹਿਆਂਵਾਲਾ ਬਾਗ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੋਰਟ ਬਲੇਅਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਸੈਲੂਲਰ ਜੇਲ੍ਹ ਵਿਖੇ ਕੈਦ ਕੱਟਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਘੁਲਾਟੀਆਂ ਉਤੇ ਖੋਜ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਖੋਜ ਵਿਦਵਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਟੀਮ ਗਠਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਖੋਜ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਉਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਵਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਨਾਂ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਯਾਦਗਾਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਦੀਵਾਰਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਢੁਕਵੀਂ ਥਾਂ ਰੱਖੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਸਮੇਂ ਇਸ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਾਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰਮਈ ਗ੍ਰੇਨਾਈਟ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਦੀਵਾਰਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਤੌਰ ਉਤੇ ਸ਼ਨਾਖਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ 488 ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਂ ਉਕਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ 25 ਜਨਵਰੀ, 2021 ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਦਾ ਨੀਂਹ ਪੱਥਰ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ 15 ਅਗਸਤ, 2021 ਤੱਕ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ, ਆਰਕੀਟੈਕਚਰ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰਕ ਦਾ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਸਮਾਂ-ਸੀਮਾ ਅੰਦਰ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਗੁੰਮਨਾਮ ਨਾਇਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਦੇ ਫੁੱਲ ਭੇਟ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਕਤਲੇਆਮ ਵਿਚ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਦੇ 29 ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਫੋਟੋ ਵੀ ਖਿਚਵਾਈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਸਾਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਬੰਗਾਲੀ ਕਲਾਕਾਰ ਮੋਲੋਯ ਘੋਸ਼ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਚਿੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਨਵੇਂ ਸਮਾਰਕ ਵਿਚ ਉੱਪਰ ਵੱਲ ਵਧੇ ਹੋਏ ਚਿੱਟੇ ਪੱਥਰ ਦੇ ਪੰਜ ਥੰਮ੍ਹ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਥੰਮ੍ਹ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਰਵਉੱਚ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਹਨ।
ਪੰਜ ਥੰਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵੱਖੋ-ਵੱਖਰੀਆਂ ਉਚਾਈਆਂ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ -ਵੱਖ ਉਮਰ ਵਰਗਾਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ, ਕਿਸ਼ੋਰਾਂ, ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ, ਮੱਧ ਉਮਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਲ ਖਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੰਜ ਉਂਗਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਜਾਨਾਂ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਕਜੁੱਟਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪੱਥਰ ਦਾ ਚਿੱਟਾ ਰੰਗ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁੱਧਤਾ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਹੈ।ਇਕ ਗੋਲਾਕਾਰ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ ਜਿੱਥੋਂ ਇਹ ਥੰਮ੍ਹ ਉੱਭਰਦੇ ਹਨ `ਤੇ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਕਾਲਾ ਪੱਥਰ, ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਪਏ ਖਲਾਅ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
