ਜਲੰਧਰ : ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਗੰਨੇ ਦੇ ਐਲਾਨੇ ਗਏ ਲਾਹੇਵੰਦ ਭਾਅ ਸਦਕਾ ਗੰਨਾ ਕਾਸ਼ਤਕਾਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਭਾਰੀ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵਾ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਤੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਸੰਤੋਖ ਸਿੰਘ ਚੌਧਰੀ ਨੇ ਦਾਣਾ ਮੰਡੀ, ਪਿੰਡ ਅੱਪਰਾ ਬਲਾਕ ਫਿਲੌਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਕੱਠ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਭਲਾਈ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਤਮਾ ਸਕੀਮ ਅਧੀਨ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕਰਨ ਹਿੱਤ ਲਗਾਏ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਕੈਂਪ ਵਿਚ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਭਰ ਤੋਂ ਪੁੱਜੇ ਲਗਭਗ 300 ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸੰਸਦ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਫਸਲਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਮੰਡੀਕਰਨ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਕੋਵਿਡ-19 ਦੀ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਵਿਆਪੀ ਮਹਾਂਮਾਰੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਉਪਰਾਲਿਆਂ ਸਦਕਾ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਦਾ ਦਾਣਾ-ਦਾਣਾ ਖਰੀਦਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਣਦੀ ਅਦਾਇਗੀ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਰੋਲ ਆਮਦਨ ਵਿਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਆਲਟੀ ਇਨਪੁੱਟਸ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਭਲਾਈ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਤਮਾ ਸਕੀਮ ਅਧੀਨ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਇਸ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਕੈਂਪ ਵਿਚ ਖੇਤੀ ਦੀ ਰਹਿੰਦ-ਖੂਹੰਦ ਦੀ ਸੁਚੱਜੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਕਮਾਦ ਦੀ ਕਾਸ਼ਤ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਲਗਾਈ ਗਈ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿਚ ਕਮਾਦ ਦੀ ਖੇਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਲਾ-ਸ਼ੇਰੀ ਦੇਣ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਫ਼ਸਲ ਸਦਕਾ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਰੋਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਸੀਲਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਖੇਤੀ ਦੀ ਰਹਿੰਦ-ਖੂਹੰਦ ਦੀ ਸੁਚੱਜੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਥੇ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦੀ ਉਪਜਾਊ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਥੇ ਰਹਿੰਦ-ਖੂਹੰਦ ਸਾੜਨ ਕਾਰਨ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਧੂੰਏਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਵਡਮੁੱਲੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪਲੀਤ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਕੇ. ਵੀ. ਕੇ ਡਾ. ਸੰਜੀਵ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਬੀਬੀਆਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਫਸਲਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਕੀੜੇ-ਕਮੌੜੇ ਦਾ ਹਮਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਓ ਦੇ ਢੰਗ ਦੱਸੇ ਗਏ। ਡਾ. ਰਿਤੂ ਰਾਜ ਕੇ. ਵੀ. ਕੇ. ਨੂਰਮਹਿਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਫਸਲਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਬੀਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ।
ਕੈਂਪ ਵਿਚ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਗੰਨਾ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਡਾ. ਬਲਬੀਰ ਚੰਦ ਨੇ ਕਮਾਦ ਦੀ ਖੇਤੀ ਬਾਰੇ, ਸਹਾਇਕ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਇੰਜ. (ਸੰਦ) ਨਵਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਸਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਹਿੰਦ-ਖੂਹੰਦ ਦੀ ਸੁਚੱਜੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਬਾਰੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਪੁੱਜੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਸੀ.ਐਚ.ਸੀ ਸੈਂਟਰਾਂ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਸਹਿਕਾਰੀ ਸਭਾਵਾਂ, ਕੰਬਾਈਨ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਟਰਾਂ ਆਦਿ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਅਖੀਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਜਲੰਧਰ ਡਾ.ਸੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਤਮਾ ਸਕੀਮ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਤਹਿਤ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਖੇਤੀ ਖਰਚੇ ਘਟਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਵਸੀਲੇ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਰੋਲ ਆਮਦਨ ਵਿਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਮਾਦ ਦੇ ਭਾਅ ਵਿਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕਰਨ ਸਦਕਾ ਕਮਾਦ ਦੇ ਰਕਬੇ ਵਿਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ।ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਭਲਾਈ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਫਸਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਹਿੰਦ-ਖੂਹੰਦ ਦੀ ਸੁਚੱਜੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਉਪਰਾਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
