ਰੂਸ ਨੇ ਯੂਕਰੇਨ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਫੌਜੀ ਹਮਲਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਯੂਕਰੇਨ ਦੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਵੈੱਬਸਾਈਟ ਹੈਕ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਖਬਰ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ, ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਖਬਰ ਆਈ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮਾਈਕ੍ਰੋ-ਬਲੌਗਿੰਗ ਸਾਈਟ ਟਵਿੱਟਰ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਕਈ ਖੋਜਕਰਤਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਕਾਉਂਟ ਨੂੰ ਬਲਾਕ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਟਵਿੱਟਰ ਨੇ ਹੁਣ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਈ ਅਕਾਊਂਟ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ‘ਗਲਤੀ ਨਾਲ’ ਰੂਸੀ ਫੌਜੀ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੇਰਵੇ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਸਨ, ਨੂੰ ਹਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਰੂਸ-ਯੂਕਰੇਨ ਦੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਈ ਖੋਜਕਰਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਟਵਿੱਟਰ ਖਾਤਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਦੇਰ ਰਾਤ “ਅਚਾਨਕ” ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਮੁਅੱਤਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਟਵਿੱਟਰ ਦੇ ਸਾਈਟ ਇੰਟੀਗ੍ਰੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ, ਜੋਏਲ ਰੋਥ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਟਵੀਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਦੀ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਗਲਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੋਸਟ ਕੀਤਾ, ‘ਸਾਡੇ ਕੰਮ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਹੇਰਾਫੇਰੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਗਰਮੀ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੋਧਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ, ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਗਲਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਛੋਟੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਸੰਖਿਆ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਗਲਤ ਲਾਗੂਕਰਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਹੋਈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਲ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ।’
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਓਲੀਵਰ ਅਲੈਗਜ਼ੈਂਡਰ, ਓਪਨ-ਸੋਰਸ ਇੰਟੈਲੀਜੈਂਸ (OSINT) ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਲੇਸ਼ਕ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੈਂ 24 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਵਾਰ ਬਲੌਕ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਇਆ ਹਾਂ। ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ‘ਅਸਫ਼ਲ ਸਾਬੋਤਾਜ/ਗੈਸ ਹਮਲੇ’ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਰਜ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਪੋਸਟ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੀ ਵਾਰ ‘ਰੂਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੂਕਰੇਨੀ ਹਮਲੇ’ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਰਜ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਪੋਸਟ ਲਈ ਬਲੌਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਗਲੇਨ ਦੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ OSINT ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸ਼ੇਅਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਇੱਕ ਪੋਸਟ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, OSINT ਖੋਜਕਰਤਾ ਕਾਇਲ ਗਲੇਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ 12 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਉਸਦੇ ਖਾਤੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਦਿ ਵਰਜ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਹੈ, ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਸ਼ਲੇਸ਼ਕ ਓਲੀਵਰ ਅਲੈਗਜ਼ੈਂਡਰ ਨੇ ਵੀ 24 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਵਾਰ ਉਸਦੇ ਖਾਤੇ ਤੋਂ ਲਾਕ ਆਊਟ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਇੱਕ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ, ਇੱਕ ਟਵਿੱਟਰ ਬੁਲਾਰੇ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਖਾਤਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਗਲਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ। “ਅਸੀਂ ਨੇੜਿਓਂ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ, ਪਰ ਪੁੰਜ ਰਿਪੋਰਟਿੰਗ ਇੱਥੇ ਇੱਕ ਕਾਰਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ,” ਰੋਥ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ।
