ਡੈਸਕ- ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ 1 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਪੈਣ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵੋਟ ਫੀਸਦ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੇ ਦਿਵਿਆਂਗ ਜਾਂ 85 ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਉਮਰ ਦੇ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਇਕੱਠੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਘਰ-ਘਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਘਰ-ਘਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਇਕੱਠੀਆਂ ਕਰਨਗੀਆਂ।
ਇਹ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪੋਲਿੰਗ ਬੂਥ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਘਰ-ਘਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਇਕੱਠੀਆਂ ਕਰਨਗੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵੀਡੀਓਗ੍ਰਾਫੀ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਪਤ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।
ਪੂਰੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ‘ਚ 2.14 ਕਰੋੜ ਵੋਟਰ ਹਨ, ਜੋ 1 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਵੋਟ ਪਾਉਣਗੇ ਪਰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ‘ਚ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਵਿਆਂਗ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 1.89 ਲੱਖ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ‘ਚ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 38741 ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ ਤੱਕ ਆਪਣੀ ਵੋਟ ਪਾ ਸਕਣਗੇ। ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਤਰਕ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ‘ਚ ਵੋਟ ਫੀਸਦ ਵਧ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਅੱਜ ਤੋਂ ਪੂਰੇ ਸੂਬੇ ‘ਚ ਇਹ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਕੁਝ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਕੇਂਦਰਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਸਕੇ ਸਨ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਵੋਟ ਪਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਇਹ ਵੋਟਿੰਗ ਪੂਰੀ ਗੁਪਤਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਵੋਟਿੰਗ ਟੀਮ ਘਰ-ਘਰ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਟੀਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਵੋਟਰ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ-ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਪਤਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਵੋਟਿੰਗ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਵੋਟ ਪਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵੋਟਰ ਨੂੰ ਟੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਆਈਡੀ ਪਰੂਫ਼ ਦਿਖਾਉਣਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਵੋਟਿੰਗ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਦਨ ਦੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਦ ਗੁਪਤ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਚੁਕਾਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਬਿਮਾਰ, ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਜਾਂ ਦਿਵਿਆਂਗ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟ ਪਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਕਤ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਜਿਹੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੋਟ ਪਾਉਣ ਸਮੇਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਲਈ ਸਦਨ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਲਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ, ਜੋ ਵੋਟਰ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਗੁਪਤਤਾ ਰੱਖਣੀ ਪਵੇਗੀ ਕਿ ਵੋਟਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟ ਪਾਈ ਹੈ। ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੋਟਿੰਗ ਲੀਕ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਮਿਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਚੋਣ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਕਮ ਡੀਸੀ ਸਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਸਾਹਨੀ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਵਿਾਂਗ ਵੋਟਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੋਟਿੰਗ ਅੱਜ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੋਮਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਗਲਵਾਰ ਤੱਕ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਕਰ ਲਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਟੀਮਾਂ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਗੁਪਤਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ-ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
