Imtiaz Ali Happy Birthday: ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਇਮਤਿਆਜ਼ ਅਲੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਵੱਖਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਜਾਣੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਕਈ ਹਿੱਟ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਇਮਤਿਆਜ਼ ਅਲੀ 16 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ 52ਵਾਂ ਜਨਮਦਿਨ ਮਨਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਮਤਿਆਜ਼ ਅਲੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਤਾਂ ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਘੱਟ ਲੋਕ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ। ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਇਮਤਿਆਜ਼ ਅਲੀ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 16 ਜੂਨ 1971 ਨੂੰ ਜਮਸ਼ੇਦਪੁਰ, ਝਾਰਖੰਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਇਮਤਿਆਜ਼ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਕਾਲਜ ਤੋਂ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਮਤਿਆਜ਼ ਅਲੀ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਦਿਲਚਸਪ ਗੱਲ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ ‘ਚ ਐਕਟਰ ਬਣਨ ਲਈ ਆਏ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਬਣ ਗਏ। ਅੱਜ ਇਮਤਿਆਜ਼ ਅਲੀ ਦੇ ਜਨਮਦਿਨ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਫਿਲਮੀ ਸਫਰ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਹਾਂ।
ਨਾਟਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕੰਮ
ਇਮਤਿਆਜ਼ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਜਮਸ਼ੇਦਪੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਦੱਸ ਦੇਈਏ ਕਿ ਇਮਤਿਆਜ਼ ਅਲੀ ਜਿਸ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਉਸ ਘਰ ਦੀ ਕੰਧ ਇੱਕ ਟਾਕੀਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ। ਦਰਅਸਲ ਜਮਸ਼ੇਦਪੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਦੇ ਚਾਚੇ ਦੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਟਾਕੀਜ਼ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਇਮਤਿਆਜ਼ ਅਲੀ ਲੁਕ-ਛਿਪ ਕੇ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਦੇਖਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਸਿਨੇਮਾ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਸਲੀ ਘਰ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਮਸ਼ੇਦਪੁਰ ‘ਚ ਬਚਪਨ ਬਿਤਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਆ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਕਾਲਜ ‘ਚ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ। ਇੱਥੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਥੀਏਟਰ ਵੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਮਤਿਆਜ਼ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਨਾਟਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਬਣ ਗਏ ਹਨ

ਟੀਵੀ ਤੋਂ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ
ਇਮਤਿਆਜ਼ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ‘ਕੁਰੂਕਸ਼ੇਤਰ’ ਅਤੇ ‘ਇਮਤਹਾਨ’ ਵਰਗੇ ਟੀਵੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਆਪਣੇ ‘ਇਮਤੇਹਾਨ’ ਅਨੁਭਵ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਉਸਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, ‘ਇਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਉਹੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਮੈਂ ਭਾਲ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮੈਂ ਕਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਮੁੜ ਕੇ ਹੋਰ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੋਚਿਆ।

ਸਾਲ 2005 ‘ਚ ਇਮਤਿਆਜ਼ ਨੇ ‘ਸੋਚਾ ਨਾ ਥਾ’ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਨ ‘ਚ ਡੈਬਿਊ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਅਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਫਿਲਮ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ 4 ਸਾਲ ਲੱਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਫਿਲਮ ਮੇਕਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਐਡੀਟਿੰਗ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ। ਫਿਰ ਉਸਨੇ 10 ਸਕ੍ਰਿਪਟਾਂ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ, ਜੋ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ‘ਜਬ ਵੀ ਮੈਟ’, ‘ਹਾਈਵੇ’ ਅਤੇ ‘ਰਾਕਸਟਾਰ’ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਬਣੀਆਂ। ਸਾਲ 2007 ਵਿੱਚ ਆਈ ਇਮਤਿਆਜ਼ ਅਲੀ ਦੀ ਫਿਲਮ ‘ਜਬ ਵੀ ਮੈਟ’ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਸਫਲ ਫਿਲਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ।
ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾ ਇਮਾਨ ਅਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਪਿਆਰ
ਇਮਤਿਆਜ਼ ਦਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਪ੍ਰੀਤੀ ਅਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦਾ 2012 ਵਿੱਚ ਤਲਾਕ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਬੇਟੀ ਇਦਾ ਅਲੀ ਹੈ। ਖਬਰਾਂ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਇਮਤਿਆਜ਼ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾ ਇਮਾਨ ਅਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਰਿਲੇਸ਼ਨਸ਼ਿਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦਾ 2014 ‘ਚ ਬ੍ਰੇਕਅੱਪ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
