ਇਜ਼ਰਾਈਲ-ਹਮਾਸ ਜੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਟਰੂਡੋ ਵਲੋਂ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਦਲਾਂ ਨੇ ਨੇਤਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੈਠਕ
ਡੈਸਕ- ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੀ ਟਰੂਡੋ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਏਜੰਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰੇਡ ਦੇਣ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਨਵੀਂ ਤਬਦੀਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਚੰਗਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸਟੱਡੀ ਇਮੀਗ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਰਟਲਿਸਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਲਦੀ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ਅਦਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਨਾਖਤ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਪਲਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਤਾਰ ਦੇ ਅਖੀਰ ‘ਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ।
ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਏਜੰਟਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਫਰਜ਼ੀ ਲੈਟਰ ਬਣਾਉਣੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ 103 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਫਾਈਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਅਲੀ ਲੈਟਰ ਪਾਏ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਨਵੇਂ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਤਹਿਤ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਜਾਂ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖ਼ਲੇ ਲਈ ਸਟੱਡੀ ਪਰਮਿਟ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦਾਖ਼ਲਾ ਪੱਤਰ ਉਸ ਕਾਲਜ ਜਾਂ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤਸਦੀਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਥੋਂ ਤਸਦੀਕ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਹੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਟੱਡੀ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੇ ਇਮੀਗ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮਾਰਕ ਮਿਲਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਧੋਖਾਧੜੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦਾ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ‘ਚ ਅਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਾਂਗੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕਈ ਹਫ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਸਲੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀ ਦਿੱਕਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਵੇਗੀ ਜਦਕਿ ਫਰਜ਼ੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖ਼ਲਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਟਰੈਵਲ ਏਜੰਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਰੇਡਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਖੇਡ ਏਜੰਟਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚਲਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਆਈਆਰਸੀਸੀ ਟਾਸਕ ਫੋਰਸ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ 1500 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਵੀਜ਼ਾ ਅਰਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਅਲੀ ਐਡਮਿਟ ਕਾਰਡ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 450 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਅਲੀ ਐਡਮਿਟ ਕਾਰਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਏ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 263 ਕੇਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 63 ਕੇਸ ਅਸਲੀ ਅਤੇ 103 ਕੇਸ ਫਰਜ਼ੀ ਪਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 25 ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਕੇਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਹਨ। ਹੁਣ ਫਰਜ਼ੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਿਪੋਰਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
